Beckford on his way?
Leeds Striker Jermaine Beckford has handed in a transfer request. Beckford who has been in outstanding goalscoring form in recent seasons for the club, is currently the clubs top goalscorer with 20 goals to his name already this term.
Beckford’s current contract is up at the end of the season and his futhure has been uncertian for a while now after refusing to sign a new contract at Elland Road, appears to be on his way out of the club with Championship side Newcastle United looking most likely to be the strikers prefered desternation for a figure thourght to be around 2 million pounds.
