We beat the Scum 1-0!
Im sure nobody needs remiding of this but thourght I might Mention it…
On Sunday the 3rd of January 2010, League 1 Leeds United had an FA cup tie against Current Premiership champions Scum in their own back yard!
Nobody could ever imagine that we would get a result, Could we??
Well, We turned up and gave them one hell of a beating!!! Outclassed, outfought and Grayson gave Fergiscum a tactical Lesson!
Thanks to a 19th minute winner from Jermaine Beckford, after he made Wes Brown look very silly before cooly slotting home over the on rushing keeper!! Get in… the crowd go wild!
This is the 1st time that the scummers have been beaten by Lower League opposition in the FA Cup!
A sign of the progress we are making under Mr Grayson!
Ilkley Whites ran our own bus to the game, After 20 members were sucsessful when applying for tickets. A great day all round!
